Meet the Researchers: ESR6 Miloš PUŠICA

Miloš got his master’s degree from Politecnico di Milano in the field of Signal processing and data analysis and bachelor’s degree from School of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade. Also, he graduated from Mathematical Grammar School in Belgrade, a school with the High National Distinction status, winning numerous national awards in Mathematics and Physics as a high school student. He gained practical experience through internships and numerous projects in his master’s and bachelor’s studies. Working as research engineer in Huawei development center in Milano and software engineer in Maxeler Technologies in Belgrade, he got solid industrial background.

About his CISC Research he says
In this project, I focus on the utilization of machine learning techniques in EEG signal processing. Particularly, the emphasis is on cognitive load estimation using deep learning that would enable real-time usage. I am currently working with mBrainTrain from Belgrade, a company specialized in mobile EEG acquisition devices. I believe that this technology, together with the advanced EEG signal processing can make significant contribution in safety-critical systems.
